The nine-day period will align with the Moon Cycles and Navarathri festival, which celebrates the Winter Solstice, an alchemic time of year when the Moon’s energy is at its most potent and the Sun prepares for its re-birth. Our Teachers


Mr. Pravin Vijay
Pravin is our Yoga master & Vedanta teacher at Sri Dhanvanthari Madom. An alumnus of Sivananda Yoga Ashram, Pravin considers himself a lifelong student of Yoga, Ayurveda, Tantra & Vedanta. Pravin is a husband, father of two children and have a full time career in IT. Yet he has a deep and meaningful desire to finding his own truth. By turning own awareness on itself he has found a deep sense of stillness, strength, clarity and his happiness, while going about daily life. Studying eastern and western schools of psychological thought and combining it with coaching tools like NLP and Gestalt has given him a varied perspective; arriving at a non sectarian and scientific psychology that he is living and breathing effortlessly every day. Ultimately He knew that he would eventually have a role to play in helping others through their self-enquiry; using guided dialogue and these tools. Pravin will be guiding the Yoga and Breathing components along with the Sessions on the deeper aspects of ourself.
Dr.Arathi Vasudev
Dr.Arathi is a versatile Ayurveda clinician and a strong advocate of adoption of Ayurveda wisdom in daily life. She is a healer & teacher at Sri Dhanvanthari Madom.
She has acquired her Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine & Surgery degree from University of Calicut, Kerala. Dr.Arathi will be leading the Ayurveda knowledge sessions & life hacks in this program. Arathi is also deeply interested in Ayurveda nutrition & dietetics.


Daily Knowledge Sessions
This course has been designed to transform your approach to life in a more holistic way & thereby help you live more in the present, each moment to its fullest.
Through this course you are given a comprehensive knowledge to improve your life based on proven, time tested Ayurveda wisdom, with a step by step approach.
The course will provide insights to fundamental principles of Ayurveda, practical applications of these principles and work as a guide to improve quality of your life.
The course happens in four modules, assisted by self help handouts & video guides.

Once registered onto the programme participants can expect the following:
1. Pre-assessments with a qualified Ayurvedic Doctor (20 mins session scheduled by appointment) prior to commencing the detox programme, 1st - 7th July
3. Daily alignment sessions - One hour of practical & theory sessions conducted by Master Teachers
5. All knowledge session recordings will be made available to the participants. The interactive sessions & yoga sessions will not be recorded and will be only available live.

What are the benefits of doing yoga?
The practice of Yoga includes a very holistic approach to health. It includes practices which focus on the well being of the body, mind and soul. Initially the benefits are very subtle but over a period of time when it becomes a way of life, the benefits are very obvious.
Are there any side-effects of doing yoga?
When done under proper supervision of a trained yoga teacher, there are no side effects. If at all the effects are only positive.
Can the practice of yoga help in alleviating incurable diseases?

Is the practice of yoga asanas enough? Or does one need to study different scriptures on yoga - like Patanjali's yoga sutras - to get a complete experience?
